The sports broadcaster recently reacted to online speculation that her five-year romance with the Super Bowl Champion ended because he was too ‘frugal’ and expected her to cover part of their dates.
‘Do I seem like someone who would share costs?’ Kayla questioned on the October 10 episode of her Unapologetically Angel podcast. ‘No, here’s the real question: Do I look like I would split bills 50/50?’
The 32-year-old firmly dismissed the notion, reminding fans that Travis—who has been in a relationship with Taylor Swift for over a year—had previously rejected the same claims during a January 2023 appearance on The Pivot Podcast.
While financial issues weren’t a factor in her relationship with Travis, the journalist has faced other challenges since their breakup. Kayla shared the extent of online negativity she receives as a result of being Travis’ ex, and the emotional impact it has on her.
